What is the lowest position in an auto parts store?

I am 14 and want to get a summer job. I wanted to get a job at an Autozone, O’Reilly Auto Parts or car parts car quest in my city. Since it would be in the summer of 15 and slightly more than the required age limit, I would have my eyes set on low, and wondered what would be the lowest position in one of these stores?

Is it cheaper, car parts, before buying a mechanic to install?

Does a mechanic (not dealer) usually add 10% more or less the price of a part (timing belts, water pumps, etc.) or just ask what they paid for it? I wonder if it cheaper, stop at O’Reilly Auto Parts or the like, and collect the piece and give it to the mechanic to install it.
